Tyler Wilson brings over a decade of high-end residential experience to the firm. Before starting Tyler Wilson Architects, Tyler worked as the lead designer for the premier custom residential firm Brandon Architects in Southern California and had the opportunity to work with industry leading designers and engineers on multi-million-dollar homes across the United States. He has led the design for multiple award-winning residences.
An Idaho native, Tyler grew up in Coeur d’Alene and received his Master of Architecture at the University of Idaho. Tyler is a licensed architect in Idaho, California, Utah, Wyoming, and a long-term AIA member.
Tyler and his wife Whitney moved back to Southern Idaho to be closer to family and raise their daughter and son. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, attending Natalie’s dance recitals, Liam’s swim lessons, hiking and camping. He has a lifelong passion for automotive restoration and is currently building a classic 240z.
Riley graduated in December with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Idaho and plans to continue his education by pursuing a Master’s degree. Growing up in the Magic Valley, Riley was immersed in construction from an early age, an experience that shaped a deep interest in architecture and a grounded understanding of how buildings come together beyond the drawings.
Outside of the studio, he spends much of his time outdoors fly fishing, hiking, and traveling—interests that strongly influence how he thinks about place, landscape, and the relationship between buildings and their environments. He is drawn to architecture that feels intentional, connected to its surroundings, and designed to support the way people actually live.
